Anyone using these?

I am curious if most people have opted into the Adsense Image Ads option.

I was late to add AdLinks to my site and that turned out to be a big money maker for me.

Anyone have anything to say about image ads?

I noticed the ctr on two of my pages from time to time drop as much as 50% from their previous average. I have also noticed that when this happens I have seen image ads on those pages. I want to remove the image ads to see if there is a connection.

I allow image ads but rarely see them. In fact, I've spotted exactly one. Even if they don't show up on my site, though, I figure they up the competition level.

I don't think they have a huge inventory to be honest. I tried putting image ads only on one of my pages and apart from an employent agency in India I got mostly PSA's.

I allow image ads but have no idea on the earnings ratio as I only see them from time to time.

I keep them on as I hope it draws attention to the ads, especially as they seem to appear inconsistently.

Your best bet is to opt into both image and text ads -- this will open your site up to the greatest number of advertisements competing to display.

An image ad will only appear if it will pay you more than the combination of text ads that would appear otherwise, so by opting into both your revenue potential should only be improved.
