I have noticed that Google.Base ads are showing heavily on my site. Are there any of you experiencing the same? Do they bid along with other Adword customers or do they not have to since it is their program? Are they displaying their ads at a discount?

IIRC, Jensense said the Ads for Adsense (not the referral links, the ads for Adsense that appera together with normal ads) where not bieng paid...

Hi there --

Just wanted to clear up any misconceptions -- if you see ads for a Google product appearing on your site, please be assured that you will receive payment for these ads just like any other ads served through AdSense.

Also, these ads have to compete in the same AdWords auction as any other ads -- so if they are appearing on your site, it means they are the ads representing the highest revenue potential for you at that moment.

Hope that clarifies!
