I think it's an internet explorer thing for some reason.

Try using mozilla or firebird. Maybe google is heading up the anti-ms movement.

There are a few threads floating around with this same subject. Seems there's quite a few experiencing the same problem.

Try [google.com...]

It's not just Explorer. Not only does this also happen with Netscape 7, it disables the application and forces me to ctrl-alt-del.

As coconutz says, remove the "www" from the front of the URL and it works.

I love MS, but try another browser - always good for a laugh - or to test your site(s) ;) : [browsers.evolt.org...]

Please don't shoot me down for the MS comment, lower development costs, support, CPU time, etc...another forum, another time...i use open office!

Must be a new crop of ISPs affected because I've had no problem at all yesterday or today until just now. Got in without the www just fine though.

It's been ok all the time in the UK, if it helps.

Anyone else experiencing problems today? I'm receiving a Server Error message:

The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.
Please try again in 30 seconds.

I am getting the same message:

Server Error
The server encountered a temporary error and could not complete your request.
Please try again in 30 seconds.

Looks like there's a flurry of requests to the google servers.

Never seen this one before. Perhaps they are adding new features? You never know!

may be. I think it is strange, that they closed down the whole adsense area, and not just the log-in area. Also adwords is down: [google.com...]

Would be good to get pre-warned about system upgrades ect as opposed to just tearing the lot down.

Yeah, back up in Eng-ger-land too, but same stats as first thing in the morning (here) too. Might just need a catch up, as the error message said reporting would be unaffected when down.
