Adsense colours

Is there a definative list of what you can and cant do with the colours for the ads?

ie , if you can get rid of the border, or have the ad all the same colour etc?

I don't know if Google has ever defined a specific list of what colors can and can't be used. When you log-in to Adsense and try to create a text ad, you can certainly remove any borders by selecting a border color that blends in with your website's background.

As far as ad text colors go, I've tried many. While the Google palette gives you the 256 web-safe colors, I've seen sites use colors that are unique to their CSS color-scheme.

Try to place a hex number (#C9C980) in the fields for title, text, etc., and see if the Google form keeps it. It should store it and display it on your website just fine.

If you look at any blogger.com blog you will notice that many of them have adsense ads that match the colors of the page. I currently also have adsense on my blog the same way. It is an option when adding it though.

What you cannot do is putting any part of the text the same color as the background.

Anything else goes, AFAIK.

You can get rid of border ( by using #ffffff) as the color.
As long as it the ads are distinguishable from the page's content, I belive google wont have problems. Read google's TOS for more on this.
