My first $10 day!

After reading a lot of negative posts here today (one guy was complaining about low revenue, another was complaining about high revenue at low CTR. What? How can you complain about being in the UPS club?) I thought I should cheer up the mood a little bit.
Yesterday was my first day over $10. And this forum has certainly helped me a lot achieving this. Thanks guys.
I'm heading for the $20 now and then $100.

My advice for starters like me: Don't bother about your daily ups and downs. Who cares, man? If you add quality content constantly and are patient enough (sometimes, wait a few weeks or even months), your site will make good revenue one day and grow further.
My site is online+AdSense since July 2005.

How right you are. Ups and downs happen and really can't be stopped. The best solution is to just keep on creating content.

Yep, as long as the general trend is upward (you will have ups and downs) over time you know you are doing OK.

I'm now closing in on the $1000/day mark, but I doubt if it will be any sweeter than it was when I saw the stats after my first day with AdSense.

I remember when I hit $10/day. It was Aug 05, and since then it's grown to about $50/day (with a few days over $70 this month!).

I kept having these "high days" that would inspire me along the way, and pretty soon my old highs would become new averages. I hope this continues.

BlackRaven: Keep going! I was were you are now not even half a year ago. People say it's the toughest part to go from $1 to $20 per day. It might be true but nevertheless I believe it's absolutely feasible with some patience and hard work within one year. This is just an estimate based on my own experience so far.

I try to keep my eye on weekly, monthly, and yearly trailing averages. Can't help but feel good or bad based on single days though.

Congrats Sven, keep going up and up... I remember the excitement of my first trip into double figures too, and it wasn't that long ago either I'm now busy trying to make my $30 peaks turn into a $30!average.
