My home computer uses ADSL connection with dynamic IP from big provider. The IP I'm using one day may be used other day by anyone even in different region of my country. And they can click my ads - from IP I used to log in to Adsense panel. Can it be problem?

Worse thing - some computers at my work share one external IP while use DHCP after firewall. Can I use such computer to manage my Adsense while other people click my ads from different computers on the same IP?

I've got a few public IPs of my own at work, but I don't like to be forced to be limited to use only them to manage my Adsense. And even them share C block with many computers of the institution I work.

So my question is - does IP matter at all in fraud detection system? If so, how much picky is it? Should I use only one public IP or just avoid using shared external addresses?

The dynamic IP at home should be no problem, since I have also a dynamic ADSL IP at home.

At a big company network, I would be carefull.

I became much more carefull as I started to read this forum.

Before, I logged with my notebook in my AdSense account, when I was connected at a big web promotion client with maybe 100 computers in the company network and fixed IP.
