On 1 of my site I usually get ONLY 10-20 visitos daily and 3-4 clicks.Today it got some 30 visitors and 50+ clicks which definatly can not be right.

Most important money earned from these 50+ clicks are just few cents so I guess google already know they were not good clicks or they recorded it wrongly.

can that happen?

What should I do?
I try to look into my website cpanel stats but I can not find anything abnormal.

Definatly I am worried ,Plesae help.

You are right to be worried and have done the correct thing by contacting google just to be on the safe side, you may find as the day goes on or even up to the last hour of the day and the new days logging is taking place clicks on your account may be removed which I have put down to the tracking what adsense have in place to remove invalid clicks and of course the invalid dollars what got registered

don't forget it is impossible for us as site owners to stop some 16 year old highly strung kid just about to take his final exams who is having a bad day at school take it out on your site by click on an ad and then clicking the back button of the browser and repeating 20 - 30 times

and yes a CTR of 20-30% is more than possible...

Myself and others have been seing this type of activitity lately. I'm a little leary about reporting to Google anything dodgy, else they might think you are involved. Just wait it out and monitor the situation.

My site is used in a lot of classrooms and it seems like every year I get a rash of clicks, plus silly emails, etc. If I notice an overly high click rate especially on one page I have contacted Google. They just reply that they have ways to catch this kind of behaviour and they just don't pay for the clicks.

On the other hand I've been linked from big newsletters to a specific page and had huge increases in traffic and clicks for a few days. I don't worry about that as the links are coming from all over. I think Google can see these kinds of patterns.

I think it doesn't hurt to contact Google though, especially if it's extreme.

As the day progress I realised the CTR improves to 150%.Now I am thinking it may be correct as site deals in valentine related things.Still 150% cTR against a normal 5% is hard to digest!

"10-20 visitos daily and 3-4 clicks"

Actually, that would be 15-40% because 10 visitors and 4 clicks would be 40% and 20 visitors and 3 clicks would be 15%. So the range is 15-40%.

"against a normal 5%"

Now, how did it suddenly drop down to 5%?

One of my sites (fairly new) gets about 1-4 impressions a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. A few times, I've been credited with more clicks than impressions.

I've attributed this to adsense holding my clicks for review. I figure since the site is new and not getting hardly any impressions, the clicks are automatically being flaged for review. Once the clicks are reviewed, they are credited to my account, causing more clicks than impressions.

I would bet that if this site got more impressions each day, I wouldn't get in a situation where I have more clicks than impressions.
