Adsense when from 30 dollars to 20 dollars today

Maybe this is the start of the Adsense team looking more closely at our clicks, and they saw a discrepancy with a bunch of clicks from say just one IP and have taken action, and instead of emailing you, they have done what a lot here have said and removed these dodgy clicks from your earnings and also saved the Adwords customer some money.

This is only a theory and there may well be and there probably is some other good explanation to the disappearing $10

Must say i have not seen this myself and your the first to report such an incident.

i dont understand the fuzz. why dont they just subtract all referrers from the ip with which you logged in to the admin pannel, if that was the case. but i didnt click on any links myself.

now i know why you dont get any proper daily stats.

usually you would expect to see a detailed listing of when you received clicks and how much you earned...maybe

IP addresses don't map very well to users. I share this address with some 800 of my cow orkers. If I use an AOL client at home, every request may come via a different proxy in their farm.

Ouch, but not surprising. Pure speculation - probably fraudulent or suspect clicks.

See msg #26 [webmasterworld.com] - clicks increased by 1, revenue descreased by 7 cents.

Jakob: They might comeback by the end of the day. I have noticed that sometimes (rarely) but at the beginning of the program when I would check a couple of times a day I noticed something like that once or twice.
