I want someone to clear up some confusion. since the consensus here is that one need to diversify, do you use adsense code for an entire site and non-adsense code for another site? Or do you alternate between different pages of the same site?

I think you mean using AdSense along with affiliate programs. If that's the case you can use both on the same site and/or page. You can use AdSense along with many other revenue sources (affiliate programs, direct advertiser and so) as long as they are not content-targeted ads.

Thanx man. Now it's starting to make sense.

Thanx man. Now it's starting to make sense. So by ads that are not content-targeted, you're referring to banners right?

Not necessarily. Text links to affiliate programs are OK by AdSense and actually perform better than banner ads.

For example, you can have a page that reviews a specific product and has a link to buy it from a merchant. And you can also have AdSense on that page.

The two can work well together.
