I'm thinking of helping several niche experts establis websites. I'd let them apply for adsense once the site is up and then inject my pubid in a percentage of their pages and letting the rest of the pages show their own adsense pubid. Is this against the TOS?

Has been able to obtain multiple adsense accounts by using different company names? Ideally I'd like to have a separate adsense account for each of these niche sites to reduce the risk of a click fraud taking down my whole entire list of unrelated websites.

moguly,

First of all welcome to WebmasterWorld!

According to the AdSense T&C, you are allowed to show ads with your publisher ID on sites which you own, or where the owner granted you the right to show ads. So in your case you should ask the owners of the site for their permission. The T&C also states that on each page at one time, only ads of one publisher ID may be present, and if I understand you correctly this will be the case. It is not allowed to have an ad block in the header of the page with one publisher ID, and another block in the bottom with another publisher ID.

The rule is one AdSense account per publisher. Many have asked for the possibility to have a separate account per site, but this is not possible, unless every account is registered for a different company. Even then you are not safe for closing of accounts in the case of click fraud on one site. If you take some time to read previous threads in this forum (a good idea anyway), you will find many posts about accounts that have been closed because of relations with other closed accounts.
