Ads for domain topic appearing on subdomain

I have a website that is about widgets, the domain name is www.example.com i.e. the name doesn't mention widgets.

I used to have a page within that website about another topic - call it floogling. I decided to make www.example.com totally about widgets and move the floogling page to a subdomain floogling.example.com with a redirect from the old floogling page to the new subdomain home page, so my old floogling visitors still get the same page and content using their bookmarked page.

However, adsense is showing ads about widgets on my floogling subdomain home page. Can anyone tell me why? Or what I should do to make the page show ads about floogling?

google adsense crawlers typically index a new page within 30 minutes, though occasionally it may take 48 hours or longer.

how long has it been since you placed the ads on the page?

I moved the page on Jan 23rd.
