What Should a programmer Do?

When Making Cline sites who wants Adsense on sites

I make websites for people.I usually find myself in follwoing situations:

1)Sometimes My clients give me their adsense code to place on the site.I don't see a problem in that.am Right?

2)Sometimes They insist I shd use my own for time being and they will change it later when website is fully developed.
I predict some problem here.Although I built that site but I am not associated with that site.

How google adsense will see such a site which has my code in earlier days and then change over to a other publisher(actual owner)?
what if that guy do something silly in future?
will google see it as related accounts?
Should I tell google adsense about this?

I guess many programmers and developers came across such clients often.

Absolutely not! If they did something against the TOS in the future, your account could be tied to theirs somehow.

Why not just put their info on the page from the beginning? After all, they are paying you to do it right?

Just do a screen grab of a same-sized ad block and use that while developing. That'll also get around the frequent errors one sees when viewing pages from the hard disk.

Under no circumstances should you put your own publisher ID onto the page. I'm not a paranoid person, but that just sounds like asking for trouble.

Why is it so hard for them to apply for their own account?

Because you work for them does mean you should simply be required to use theirs...

Am I missing something?
