Is it OK to put something like, "New! Now you can search our website with Google Below" above a search box?

How can I get my G Search box to default to my domain instead of Google.com (it's annoying).

G Search doesn't pay much but I think it's a help to my visitors so I want them to easily be able to find & use the box to search my domain (instad of Google).

Oh, one more question:
can I make a little "search" button and link it to the bottom or middle of the page where my search box is? is that OK?

In the "adsense for search" screen, if you click google site search instead of google web search, site search is then the default. I don't see why you can't add a button that jumps down the page to the search box.

To be honest, Google search won't make you much money (maybe a few bucks a month) but it is an easy search option to implement. It does what I want it to. I don't use Google search because of the money, but because I haven't got round to implementing any other search facility as yet.

I know. It doesn't make me much money, but I think it's useful for my visitors. So I kind of want to put a lable above it, like, "Now you can use Google to search our site!" or "Looking for a page? Search Our Site".
I hope it isn't against TOS to label the search boxes.

For about a year, I've been doing what you describe (informing the user it's a Google site search) and also changed the button label from "Search" to "Search This Site".

I asked about this(informing site guests to use the search box) a while back and they(adsense support team) said it was fine.
