February earnings down

High January followed by Low February

Hi All,

After a great performance in January 2006, Google Adsense is giving a very low payout per day since February 1. What I earned between February 1-3, I earned in each single day in January.

Is anybode else experiencing the same?

I hope things improve. Well there are only 28 days in February though.

The pay per click this month has dropped about 20% from the past 2 months. I expect another slow day today, due to the Super Bowl. I suppose Valentines Day and Presidents Day will also have a negative affect on earnings.

not for me. Jan 06 earnings are up about 35% over December 05. i can see Feb 06 earnings already higher than Jan 06.

visitor count is about the same from Nov, Dec to Jan to Feb (though Dec was low, due to holidays).

ecpm is higher, cost per click is higher, daily earnings are higher. this trend started last week of Jan. 05. from what i read here, I could either attribute this to big-daddy, to advertisers spending more in beginning of the new year, or to some other unknown factors.

Expected a 20% income drop in Feb vs Jan earnings, probably the smartpricing effect, eEPC dropped 15%.

Jan. rocked for me but now I can see a little smart pricing coming into effect in Feb.
