Non-Context Adsense ads

A web hosting site displaying Mesothelioma ads

I was going through a hosting site(I shall give the url,if permitted). The whole site was dedicated to the hosting plans, and related stuff. But however, every page consistently displayed 'Mesothelioma' ads which are considered high paying.

My question is not why, since the adsense clicks might be really low on for such an offtopic ad. But I would like to know is it possible to make it happen. Because, if the person is able to display such an offtopic ad, then adsense definitely has something more to it than just contextual display.

Please don't post the URL. Don't forget that the contextual nature of the AdSense ads comes from the source code content, not the visible content. You'll probably find a bunch of hidden keywords in the source code in a lame attempt by the webmaster to increase his earnings. He'll get found out and banned soon enough.

Cheers to that!

encyclo is likely correct. There is a 99% chance of hidden/cloaked content. You may also want to look and see if they have "stolen" some of the premium publisher keyword targetting code.

Another thing to double check is whether or not they are actually adsense ads or something designed to mimick them.

well, I checked his page source..There was no hidden Mesothelioma on it.

But found this one line on his adsense script

google_page_url = "http://www.mesotheliomaweb.org

Does this mean anything to experts here..

That site is a dedicated Mesothelioma site..Is it then possible use our own content but, source ads based on the context of some other site..

See Frequent's post above:

Is it illegal?
If so, how does Google script work.I observed that even if I include a "," somewhere in between the whole script, it generated an error.

Both of these threads discuss that.

Anand, better don't mess with the AS code.
Adsense TOS explicitly prohibits it.
I wouldn't even try a ",".
