Bill - good search ( refereing to the logging script post, that i guess is removed now, due to TOS issues )

all i can say is Ohhhh Myyyy God!

now, anyone can a get a completly indexed set of advertisers and a lot of open adsense data through these hundrerds of sites using this script.

best ( or worst ) i am seeing the data on the sites of my compititors now.

On a serious note - I think Google AdSense has full right to throw anyone out of adsense, who is using this script or similar scripts. Reason? - Well, making or using methods that LEAK the data that google's advertisers have trusted adwords with. This is actually advertisers data, which has been thrown open to public, but adsense users. The AdSense users arr doing nothing wrong while loggign it, BUT they are doing wrong ( unknowingly - maybe ) by making it open to public.

Google can be answerable to advertisers for this, and adsense members in turn will be answrable for this to google.

I don't really see a downside to logging scripts as Google otherwise gives us no control over being abused at the hands of certain individuals that could click us out of AdSense.

However, that specific script caused me some serious concern as the data was unprotected.

Imagine the damage that could be caused by your competitor crawling the output from your AdSense sites running that script to locate advertisers, not to mention just the sheer intel of total clicks, source pages leading to keywords, etc.

A true goldmine of information to some enterprising person.
