Ditch Adsense?

I was just reading some posts about alternatives to Adsense.

The two I came across was FastClick and Tribal Fusion. Has anyone used either for ad publishing?
I am looking to ditch Adsense in favour of FastClick.
One of the main resons is they pay by PayPal which is a quicker and easier alternative to Adsense payments (I live in Australia and have to wait for the cheque, then deposit it......).

I haven't heard much about either and was just wondering what people's opinion is about either.

Please let me know!

I've used both of those networks, and earnings were a tiny fraction of what I get with AdSense.

On top of what EFV said, both TribalFusion and FastClick have pretty strict acceptance policies.

Neither will take you if you have less than 1800-2000 unique users per day.

I use both of them and like EFV said, they are only a drop in the bucket compared to adsense.

I get about 8000 page hits a day.

I've used both of those networks, and earnings were a tiny fraction of what I get with AdSense.

Do you get the same amount of page hits now with Adsense as you did with FastClick?

don't confuse page hits vs page impressions vs visits vs unique visitors.

i get half a million hits a day, but ten thousand uniques.

I use Fastclick. My earnings adsense earnings are on average twenty times greater than my Fastclick earnings, and Fastclick are one of the better ones!

why do you want to ditch adsense?

I don't have a choice now that my domain is banned!
I have a free web hosting site and a member uploaded some pages that was reported to Google as an infringement of copyright. I received a DMCA notice from Google in which I had to lodge a counter-notification within 10 days. So I quickly removed the content, sent a counter notification and emailed Google I have done so.

This happened just before Christmas and I live in Australia and my counter-notification didn't reach Google within 10 days and my account was closed a few days ago!

What I found strange is the user who uploaded the pages in question had created the account only 2 days before I recieved the notice email from Google. Two days is a very short time for Google to have a response for anything! And the web pages in question had only had 4 page views!

My theory is that the member had uploaded the content and contacted Google themself about the "infringment" in a very short period. Why I don't know - to get my account disabled?

I contacted Google and told them the story but the reply I got was basically that my account is closed and my domain name banned:
"Previously, we let you know that Google was notified that according to the terms of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), that some of your web pages allegedly infringe upon the copyrights of others........"

So thats why I am trying to find an alternative.
Maybe I'll just have to wait for YPN!
Does anyone know when it will be coming out of BETA?

Check your sites log file and get the time date and IP number of the member who uploaded the content and the same for the 4 pages viewed and any other information you can find relating to this member and send it in an email to the adsense team explaining again what happened with the sequence of events what lead up to you having your account terminated.

No its not been announced when YPN is out of beta

Chitika is also an option. And it is compatible with AdSense (for those who are not banned, of course)
