Hi everyone,

I am setting up a new website these days. I am going to apply a new adsense account for that website. My question is before the new adsense account approved, could I use the current adsense account for that new website for a while? or that may cause google refuse my application.

thanks

It was my understanding you are SUPPOSED to use only one Adsense account for all your websites.

You can then use channels to isolate individual site performance.

Anyone, please care to correct me if I am wrong.. ;-)

The problem using one google account for multiple webistes is if one website is screwed, for example, under some click attacking, you lost all your adsense for other websites, which is very risky.

any comments from other gurus?

Google won't allow one person to have more than one account, but other members of your family / people living at the same postal address can have their own separate accounts. My wife and I have separate adsense accounts. My site makes the money - she spends it, but I'm allowed anything her site makes (currently $0).

The thing to be aware of is that Google can, and will terminate accounts that are related in the case of TOS violations such as click fraud. So if your account is whiter than white, and your wife's account is encouraging fraudulent clicks you both are liable to be booted, as is anyone else in the same household, or other accounts Google thinks are connected in some way. So having separate accounts does not prevent you from getting booted if one site is "screwed" anyway.
