So I waited with baited breath for the UPS van to come up the drive - only to find the cheques arriving as normal, by post.
Curiosity finally got the better of me the other day, and I asked AdSense support why this was.
Apparently, our payment method is "standard delivery cheque" - and that will be the case regardless of the value of the cheque. I'm guessing that's because we're in the UK - (can't think of any other reason).
There's a workaround available though: Opt for EFT - and because the payments are too big for EFT, we'll get secure delivery. We'll be charged for it, but it'll be refunded the following month.
None of this matters of course - just so long as the cheques arrive I'm happy for Google to send them by carrier pigeon!
Congrats for getting over the $10k/month mark. This is a matter for celebration. Name a pub, date and time and perhaps some of us will be near enough to come and buy you a drink!
With regards EFT, I asked Adsense support last year what would happen if we went over the 10k limit (as we were getting close to the UPS limit, though haven't broken it yet). They said there is no limit (not that we are near, anyway) and we'd continue to get EFT.
Correct me if I'm wrong.
