Let me put it this way... if it was allowed, many of us could literally double our revenue overnight.
i am not sure if you meant this literally, but if you did, i disagree. adding a second block from another network might improve results slightly, but i doubt the result would be anything close to 2X.
For me - YPN pays a helluva lot more than Chitika, and Chitika managed to eek its way back onto my website now that their audit process is done daily (and their statistics improved slightly)
So for now, on my 2 ad pages - For half of my pageviews I'm using Google with Chitika (because the Google 2nd ad blocks were paying extremely poorly in terms of EPC... and bringing down the value of the #1 ad block)
Yahoo gets the other half of the pageviews and gets 2 ad blocks.
He did say "leading website" and I have also noticed this on another "leading website", I think you will find that certain sites will be allowed to do this and when I say certain I mean very few sites.
imagine a site that gets 500,000 unique visitors a day and it displays google adds? you can imagine the money they are making, now if that site decides that it wants to try out the yahoo adds I have no doubt that instead of google telling them they cannot have both they will allow them to try along side google adds.
the only other option is that google will be droped from that site for either a short period (if yahoo doesnt pay well) or permenant if yahoo does pay well, im sure the safest bet for google would be to allow the adds along side yahoo, cant think google would risk loosing a 500,000 uniques a day puplisher can you?
like I said this is for certain sites and not for most of us on her.
regards
While you can use both AdSense and YPN on the same site, our program policies prohibit publishers from using them on the same page.
