I guess there is a software for this, but you need to pay some money for this.

Congratulations and Welcome!

You do have access to your server logfiles? Watch for "googlesyndication" in the referrer to find the clicks.

As the click results in someone leaving your site it will not be in your log files.

Whether it's a good or bad thing, that first click will always remain a mystery to you.

Now you just need to think of adding more mysteries to 'worry' about ;)

Well, it's too late to track that first click. But in the AdSense backend you can configure "channels". You can make an individual channel for each single page, so you can at least track from which page the click originated.

>>>I wonder where can i check who and when someone clicked on google ads.

Do you want to send them a "thank you?" ;)

You're right on target, set up channels to help narrow down the field.

Welcome to WebmasterWorld and I also hope this is your first of a million more clicks.

thank you all for such inspiring wishes!

my site is not for making profit. it is educational, helping students with their homework. my wife is a professor and website is our project. it really got us a lot closer. even sex is better :) you know the feeling that you are doing something together!

like i said i am not eager to make profit from our site, i just think adsense is good for covering hosting expenses.

now i have another question!

i see a lot robots visiting but all they check is either / or some.html file. not all. especially yahoo bot.

site is not yet listed in search engines but i already have some 100 unique visitors a day. even inbound links i dont know how those got on other peoples sites?

well my question is ... shoul i make links on my site just <a href.... some.html> or <a href....www.mysite.com/some.html>

sure hope you can suggest something

Regards and sory for my poor english.

It is generally believed that using absolute links ( including www.yoursite.com/) is preferable. For more details

As to your first question, it is possible to track adsense clicks using javascript. See

Even I'm not a big earner from Adsense, earning in cents a day from one or two clicks..I started out only a month and a half ago..

One thing I would like to say is that if you want to have regular clicks, you need to develop a regular mode of traffic. In my case, I am lucky that my niche is by far untouched by anybody else. And my forums website, in less than a month features in top three search results for my niche related searches in google. But since the number of searches itself is very low, I get only one or two clicks. But for a forum to get clicks is itself a good thing. So, I'm happy with how I am moving.

my site is not for making profit.

That's how my site started, too-- and I think that's a great way to go, as your visitors know your site is 'for real' and you care about the content.
When you care more about the content than about the profit, success will come & money will too. At least that's how it's been with me.

Keep growing it, you never know how far adsense will take you. :D
