link units :how do you earn by them?

is it when you click or second hand?

The user has to click on one of the links in the list, not the link on your site. (Which means that YOU can see the list without getting in trouble for self-clicking).

The trick with Adlinks is finding the right place for it. I have tried it various places around my site and the only place it works for me is on my home page, where it gets a CTR well above the site average.

Although I don't think this applies to link units, I would strongly suggest you not ever click on your own AdSense ads. If you did, your account might already be suspended (of course, you will only find out when it's time to get paid).

There is a button on the code page to change the channel ... use it.

Nick Jach, you should not click on the ads, INCLUDING ads in link units. But you can click on the links themselves--the links that take you to the page of ads. Google has confirmed this.
