Getting Rid Of PSA's

I found a few threads about PSA's from 2004, but they were sort of relevant to the time.

Today, I have a few web pages that constantly display PSA's and I cannot figure out how to get rid of them! Most (95%) of my pages show legitimate Adsense ads, but a few show PSA's which not only look ugly, but do not generate any revenue.

I've checked keyword density, page content, and even tried different locations for the ads.

Does anyone else have pages that do this?

Yes. And the only way to get rid of the PSA is to use an alternate ad. Trying to change the content to get rid of the PSA is oftentimes long and futile. Just put some affiliate banner or code there and you will not have to worry about PSA.

Check for stop words. Such as death, killed etc firstly

Even when obvious words are avoided you can still have a problem
I just did a page on books by a former General, no obvious stop words on the page but he and the subject must also have been taboo for adsense, only psas

It's so weird because I have pages about relationships (nothing vulgar, but may contain a stop-word or two), and pages about holiday depression, and they both show PSA's.

Thanks for the info. I'll keep playing with it until I see actual ads on the pages.

Section targeting might help. Do a search for it in the AdSense Help area.
