Hi,
I just got my first click from adsense!
I received 0.56 $ for it, quite much, isn't it?

And what was your first time like, guys? How much did you get for one click?

Congrats stormshield. May you receive many more. :)

My first AdSense clicks were about 1/4th of what you received. It was a niche market where the cost of the products was very low, so quite naturally the advertisers couldn't afford to pay enough for me to get $0.56 a click. I have since learned how to find those higher paying markets and now receive clicks in the $3 - $15 range on a daily basis.

Here's to your continued success!

Congrats on your first click! It's an exciting time when you realize the monetary potential of "clicks".

That first click is rather exciting. Please remember the following:

1) Do not check your stats too often. More than a couple times a day is overkill. Save that time for content building.

2) You just got onto one huge @ss rollercoaster. Keep your seat belt on and don't do anything stupid and you will be fine.

3) Listen to your mother. "Master-clicking" will cause you to go blind... well, get kicked out of Adsense anyway.

Welcome aboard!

Good luck stormshield - actually I just typed Goog luck - a new word for Adsensers to use?

Anyway, it made me check back on my earnings history since I couldn't remember and I found that my first day I made USD5.78 and the first month was just over USD230.00, however I do recall sitting there thinking "That's USD2760+ per annum, free web hosting for life!" since I was paying USD600 p.a.

It never entered my mind at that time that my monthly cheques would, or could, ever exceed the annual amount and I didn't really embrace the entire concept for another 5 months.

A lot of self-inflicted a$$ kicking went on in my office when the USD20-30 per day started rolling in I can tell you.

It's been an interesting ride, go for it stormshield...you don't do double glazing do you?
