Google Trivia?

Today I noticed an Adsense ad that did not not have a regular text ad in it, but a bolded question ("What is the biggest spider?"), and in the bottom right corner it said "Google Trivia". When I clicked on the question, I was forwarded to the Google results page for "what is the biggest spider"

I have never seen this before, and couldn't find any reference to it. Perhaps an alternative to the public service ads? I'm not sure if I want those trivia questions appear on my website - they probably get more clicks than PSAs.

I checked the code and it was a legitimate Adsense ad. This was on a Dutch website, by the way.

In countries that do not have any PSAs currently applicable to them, AdSense runs these trivia questions in place of the PSAs you would see in US/Canada/UK etc.

i suspect that using collapsing ad units would take care of the problem.

Ah, I see. Well, if they only show for non-US/UK/Canada visitors, I don't really mind.

Thanks for clearing that up =)
