Google introtuced end August 2005 the ad sections.

I tested to short and on to small domains from me, to have a real statsitic. So I removed this again.
Just because I had at this time on my main sites increasing stats and "Never change a winning team".

Now I just think to make a second experiment with it.

What are Your experiences?

Do you mean section targeting? If so, I've used this to "fix" the targeting on a few pages that were off. There's no point in using it on pages that are getting the right ads already, in my opinion.

I mean there are sections in the source text of my sites

content
logo with alt text
links to prev and next page

<!-- google_ad_section_start(weight=ignore) -->

links to other themed sub domains
navigation

My CTR took a plunge some time ago and I decided to use the ad sectioning. It worked on filtering some unrelated ads but the CTR didn't change much...low ad inventory I guess...

OK, that's what I thought. As I said, it can help with a page that's getting the wrong ads. I don't think there's any reason to use it on EVERY page, unless you have a lot of material in a nav bar that you want ignored.

5 links with buttons and long ALT text to other themed sub domains

40 to 60 text links to other parts of the site.

Then I would use it--it doesn't add much code to the page. Text in those links or alt tags could be distracting to the AdSense algorithm....
