From the last 3-4 days my eCPM is improving and my revenue increased by almost 30%, many other publishers have reported this, Can it be interpreted as end of Smart-Pricing?

Not a chance. Maybe smart pricing is starting to work for you. The traffic that you are sending to advertisers must be converting.

That is too soon to give any conclusion.

Maybe Your site converts good, and this trend changed the smart pricing on Your site.

Begining December, I posted at an upwards EPC trend

"Maybe I have reached the other side of smart pricing"

I think if they had ditched Random Pricing(tm) then we might just have heard about it - possibly rather loudly! I don't think anyone expects this is ever going to happen though.

If you have read this forum a while, you will notice that for every 20 threads on "My earnings suck" there are an equal number of threads that say the opposite.

Usually we have no idea why, and in any case the reasons are way beyond our control, so it's best to sit back and enjoy the roller-coaster ride that is Adsense.

It could be due to advertisers bidding more aggressively on your keyowrds, it could be due to seasonal sales fluctuations inflating keyword prices, it could be due to changes you've made on your site, increased traffic, decreased traffic with improved quality. Who knows - the list is endless.

I have to agree. Anyway trends over months/years have more meaning than over the last few days. FWIW my AdSense revenue was up almost 50% over last year.

I'm still getting sub 5¢ clicks in my AdWords account so I believe smart pricing is still there.

Our sites have also seen a marked EPC increase since Dec. 1. This could also be that there are fewer MFA's showing up.

Just advertisers are spending more money and bidding high prices for exposure in this holiday season. As soon as we drop the bidding prices your eCPM will fall. Dont worry.ok.

My eCPM increased 150-200% starting Dec 27 -- after the holiday rush. And my sector is not associated with holiday shopping at all so our sector's advertisers are not spending big to take advantage of the holiday.

The high CPM is still going very strong. My site recovered from Jagger and we're now back at the top of our SERPs for all the keywords we lost. Now I'm back checking my stats every hour again :o)

I'm in the travel sector, and I'm seeing a boom in AdSense revenues and affiliate bookings now that the holidays are over and people's minds have turned to their winter getaways, spring breaks, and summer vacations. (The same thing happens every year, so I'd be shocked if there weren't a jump in traffic and revenues during January.)

The same thing does not happen to me every year. My revenues and traffic do not climb up in anticipation of a yearly activity. The cpm spike I am seeing is not a result of a yearly trend, moreso a year end trend. And the CPM increase is very very significant

It's also a peak time of year for divorce lawyers. EFV - have you ever thought of putting up content about New Year vacations to warmer climes which offer "quickie divorces"? ;-)

LOL. I didn't know that. I wonder if EPCs from divorce lawyers' ads rival those of class-action attorneys? :-)
