Disabled Account -- any success stories on getting reinstated?

I'm a frequent reader of the posts in this forum, they have helped me boost my earnings from a few cents a day into the double digits in a day. I'm very thankful for that.

Whenever I see a "Google has wrongfully disabled my account" post, I am always skeptical. That is, until it happened to me today.

I do not click on my own ads, nor do I incourage others. I have a job that pays well, and I use adsense on my hobby site. The ad money coming in is nice because it pays for my hosting and provides a little extra cash to improve the site.

I have taken the steps that others have said to follow. I sent them an email pleading my innocents and told them I would provide anything they need.

My question is, has anyone had any luck getting back in? Or should I move on to Yahoo or similar?

Also, is it normal that Adsense ads are still being displayed on my site?

If your ads are still showing It could be that they have disabled your account and not terminated it until further investigation. If you convince them of your innocense they might send you another email appologising and telling you your account is re-instated. BTW, can you still log into your account?

Thanks for your replies.

I'll hold off on switching until I recieve a reply from google, until then I will follow the advice in the threads.

Anyone know an address I can email them at other than the general one?
