This is not so happy holiday’s at least for me. After first few days of this week i.e. Thursday my site is getting lesser and lesser visitors per day. I hope the SMART PRICE will not kill my earnings during the holidays starting from tomorrow.

My traffic always tanks this time of year. It started dropping a week ago. It get's worse too.

The good news, for me at least, is that January rocks!

If you've not experienced Christmas before, and your traffic is on the decline now, then it is likely that on the 25th you're going to experience a new "low" in earnings. But as wyweb suggests, things will rapidly get better after the Christmas break and you may well experience a new "high" mid January.

Smartprice will probably keep your earnings up rather than kill them. We've seen in the past that when volumes plummet EPC goes up. This is partly to do with supply and demand.

i have seen two Decembers prior to this. On both occasion on 25th Dec. the traffic was lowest then. My site usually recovers around 8th to 15th Jan. But this December there is smart price which updates every week as per my knowledge. So i assume i will get actual earning back one week after my steady traffic i.e. around 21st Jan. 2005. But yes this is my first Dec. after smart pricing for publishers.
