I've just joined here and already impressed by the amount of useful info that users provide for each other.
I live in London and since two weeks ago I started to build a content based web page and also decided to go with adsense to make some income with it.
when I search internet for more info, there are many different softwares, book and ebook that all take your attention to pay for and buy them but I'm not really sure if they will actually help.
it'll be very appreciated if you help me with your views and replies about starting my adsense and what you think I should really be looking for...
From your question, it's a little unclear whether you're asking for help with finding software etc to help with designing your site or help with software etc to boost adsense income. Perhaps you could clarify exactly what you're looking for, and what you want the "software, book or e-book" to do.
As you'll have seen, there's lots of useful help, info and tips on here to help with Adsense - if I were you, I wouldn't waste my money buying books, lists, software or anything else from anyone claiming to sell you Adsense secrets/get rich quick/how to be an Adsense millionaire, as the only people getting rich from those are the sellers! Instead, try out some of the tips and advice here to find out what works for you.
In the meantime, obey the Adsense TOS, continue building your site, put quality content on it and try to build up traffic. Good content = traffic = income.
If you're looking for site-building software, as rfontaine suggests, there are plenty of open source (ie free) software options available which will help do this. IMHO, some of them are better than proprietary brands.
I have to disagree with rfontaine's figures though. Unless you're opening a bank or expecting squillions of visitors each month, you won't need to spend anything like $1,000/month on hosting right now; sounds like you're building your own site so you won't need to spend $100 per hour on design fees, and if you go down the open source route you certainly won't need to spend $25,000 on equipment and software.
If you focus on quality content and read and try out the advice on WW, then your outlay will be minimal.
Just start reading.. you'll see...
If you plan on building websites which are full of useful and interesting information, consider the following required skills:
1 - Content Writing
2 - Web Design
3 - Hosting / Server Administration
4 - Publicity / SEO
Content Writing:
If you can write well, have time to write, and have the commitment to write, then that's great, make no purchase here. If your writing is poor, consider brushing up your skills with an appropriate short course, or investing in some reference books. If you've neither time nor commitment, you should look at hiring someone to work on at least some of your content.
Web Design:
Unless you are an experienced web-designer, you will almost certainly get a much better result much faster if you pay what are frequently very affordable rates to a web-designer to produce the templates you will build your site with.
Hosting / Server Administration:
Whilst the basics of FTP are important for you - there is no need for you to get a dedicated host or a VPS which requires you to know and learn a lot about servers. Find a webhost which provides an easy to use (point and click) system - it may cost a little more, but you can't do everything yourself and still make progress.
Publicity / SEO:
Spending all your time writing content and polishing your site, you may forget about advertising the site, whatever the mechanism may be. Believe me when I say that there are a lot of people around who are able to promote your site very very effectively, and unless you have the time to learn, glean, and experiment over many months - you are unlikely to achieve the rapid growth in traffic which will support the rest of your development.
So, in summary - you don't NEED to buy anything - but it is most probably a better long-term business decision to do so.
I'm actually at the position where I can create a page using frontpage or dreamweaver but again I've seen many of websites that are built for adsense purposes are really simple and more text based.
a silly question...
most of the content of these websites are taken from other related websites with some changes to the style and words, isn't this right?
so from my underestanding it is more to the time that you spend to find the best and related content?
Cut-and-paste sites of the kind you describe are also known as "scraper" sites. They may clog up the search engines, especially in lucrative areas, but they can't compete with sites that have good original content, incoming links from other respected sites, and a community of regular visitors.

It looks like you've been seeing MFAs (Made For Adsense) sites.
Don't go down that road principally for two reasons:
1. Google is gradually eliminating them.
2. You obviously do not have the experience and knowledge how to create them.
The question has to be "What area of expertise, experience and knowledge can you write about?"
Don't try and compete with the guys at the top of the tree in travel and insurance etc, it will take a long, long time and you will in all likelihood fail. Expend your energies on something you like and enjoy since it will make it much easier when the going gets tough!
If you can use Dreaweaver competently then you're on your way however CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) and a text editor is by far easier.
I haven't used CSS in the new DW therefore I may be talking a load of old cobblers here!
