google says that "checks will now originate from HSBC Bank, rather than Citibank. For processing reasons, we will no longer be able to display individual check numbers in the Payment Details available from your Payment History page" Is that why this month's check is delayed?

I have not seen this yet but if it is new surely they are implying it would change for the November cheques which we could receive any time between now and early January depending on Xmas post etc.
Added in - wishful thinkng but could this mean they are about to roll out EFT to more countries, HSBC seems to be far more global.
