Anyone noticed this before?

I've never really noticed the little link at the bottom of the Google ads before that says "Advertise on this Stie", but today I clicked it and it takes me to a page at google that says Advertise on "MY DOMAIN NAME" You're only steps away from advertising on this site, a valued member of Google's diverse network of partner websites. The 'Advertise on this site' link you just clicked is part of an ad delivered by the Google AdWords system. Click 'Sign Up Now' to open an AdWords account and create an ad for this site in one quick, simple process. Write your own message, set the price you want to pay, and we'll take care of the rest.

I have noticed recently that a particular ad keeps showing up taking up all 4 spaces on my adsense skyscraper. I hate that ad it's a competitor from a campaign we did over about a year ago and it has nothing to do with most of my pages so no one is probably going to click it. Is there a way to keep that ad from showing up on my site. Seems to me I should have some control over something like that. And why is one person's ad allowed to be the size of four standard size ads?

Have you tried the competitive ad filter? It is under the tab "Adsense for Content" - last option on right. Block their entire URL from advertising on your site.

try emailing Google and opting out of site targeting. I did, best move I made to date.
