Just noticed that my adsense account is not set to my timezone (GMT). Think that all adsense accounts are set to the same timezone - it is not user configerable. But what timezone is it set to?

As far as I know it is PST.

Why dont adsense let you change your timezone? So many things about adsense I just cant understand. The only thing I can think of - why the adsense stats provision are just so, so terrible - is that google dont want people analysing the stats and "playing" the stats to try and maximise income. Just the kind of thing that I am actually trying to do.

remeber this is AdSense 1.0, or possibly 1.3/1.4
I remember the good old days in June 2003 when there was no such thing as channels or url filtering or any of the other toys you young whippersnappers take for granted.

Well on the basis that what's considered monthly revenue is based on Google's accounting time zone which happens to be PST, I think that allowing you to set the time zone for your account would only lead to confusion about how much you're entitled for a month as even though your calendar may say January 1st, you're still on theirs as December 31st (I just picked a random month interval to make my point) and earning revenue for December not January.
One set date for their stats/records makes things much simpler.

Would be great if Adsense allowed you to see the Timezones at your own choosing.
