I didn't have the previous login problem but my stats did look a little behind for that past few hours. Now all of a sudden... Blam! My clicks and earnings more than doubled what they were 1/2 hour ago. nice!

From the opposite viewpoint (Adwords advertiser) I had the same issue with reporting to then see a sharp increase (in line with actual visits). I'd say G are struggling with resources due to poor pre-planning of the Analytics launch.
