Is Onsite allowing targeted ads to come into my site

That is, by enabling the feature will it allow any advertiser to specifically request targeted advertising on my website(s) at a cost Google controls?

Anyone realize the implications of this program and how it can affect small/medium size publishers?

I am guessing that if the action model happens locally on your own website, if you are not an extremely popular publisher, people will be able to bid much less and therefore drive their costs and your earnings down.

Advertisers have been able to target your site with CPM ads for a while now.

It shouldn't happen that more bidders will ever drive your revenue down. I'm not saying it can't or won't happen, but Google's position is that it won't.

Google, I think, is pretty good at telling us what is true across all publisher sites, but you still have to find out for yourself what is or is not true for your own site(s).
