Does adding eminimall by chitika effects AdSense earnings?

I added eminimall by chitika code along with AdSense on my site. After a week of running both to gather I noticed a drastic drop in my AdSense revenue about 50% of average daily. I have also noticed the increased page views to my site which eventually resulted in less CTR and I assume smart pricing hit my site. The site content is not made for AdSense. It’s a niche content.

Depends on the location, if adsense is in the heat zone and chit is in the bottom, probably you wouldn't see much effect, if both are in the top visitor's eyes will see first chit then maybe browse over the text ad, its also natural to see a drop in visitor attention if you are giving them more than one option. Personally it is working with best results for me separating church and state per page, i.e. One ad network per page (google being the church for their god rank)

i have chitika in middle of content where as google adsense in hitmap zone.

Try chitika at the bottom and maybe adsense will recover

I use chitika for my english sites as PSA replacement.

Until now, the CTR is about 1:15 smaller than at AdSense.

Maybe PSA only appears on pages, where AdSense would earn if shown also much less.

the first day i done above, my earning went further down. second day improved a bit. thrid day(20 Nov)it improved and back to normal avg. earning. i will post next few days trend here.

Any ad you add to the site affects earnings of the other ads.
If you had, say, 50 clicks on AS before and after adding Chitika those clicks translated into 35-15, you can't expect the same from AS as before.
It is the total earnings that count.

Seems your good luck worked for me ;-). Thanks. This time i spent more time doing many ad placement changes and moved chitika to bottom of page and spent few to learn reports of Google analytics and heat map again. Result, today is the highest earning day for me in last 3 years. Thanks to WW and all members like you.
