Dumped in SERPS by Yahoo and MSN

Could this be due to Adsense?

My sites have always suffered the yo-yo effect in Google's SERPs, but have been very consistent in Yahoo and MSN for nearly 3 years.

Since I started displaying Adsense, I've noticed an increase in traffic coming from Google, and until yesterday, about the same levels from Y and MSN - which was the majority of my traffic.

The last couple of days, I've noticed a drastic drop in traffic from Y and MSN (70% less), and on checking for pages which used to consistently rank between #1 and #6 in those search engines, I found the pages have suddenly disappeared. Not even in the top 30 - I didn't look any further down, too depressing :(

Has this happened to others here? Do Y and MSN not like sites with Adsense? If it has happened to you, have your sites eventually recovered their position?

Any suggestions!

I would tend to think that it's a coincidence.

I've been in AdSense for two years and seen no significant changes in Yahoo traffic till recently, when it went UP. I attribute that to a site reorganization.

Coincidence, at least if my limited experience is any guide. (I'm doing better in Yahoo and MSN than ever, with AdSense ads on every page.)

It does seem quite a big coincidence, but hopefully that's all it is, and we'll bounce back! :)

I think you will find lots of people with adsense ranking in top spots for both Yahoo and MSN.

That this is something other than a coincidence is highly unlikely.
