Is site-targeting bad for your site?

Before you start filtering out advertisers that are doing site-targeting on your site, do you think google will start sending more traffic to your site if there are enough advertisers doing that?

Somehow, I have a feeling they are more integrated in their operation than what they want you to think.

I started autumn last year a thematic subdomain of my main domain.

Great performance, now 487 pages and around 30% of my income.

I started in summer this year to translate thie subdomain from Geran to English. The english version uses an other subdomain. 133 pages finished and by far more traffic from MSN than from Google.

So if Your theory would be true, I would have much traffic on the english verseion from Google.

Actually, I was hoping the theory won't hold true as I have afew seemingly site-targeted ads and I would like to filter them out.

Fact is I am seeing an increase in traffic from google and I am hesitant for a moment to filter out those ads. I was de-ranked in google since July and Yahoo's traffic was only a quarter of what I get from google.

These two months have been great as I have recovered most of my traffic. So that is why I am kind of worried. :)
