Google Adsense & indexing pages

I just started using AdSense. Sense my pages are being indexed so they know what content to deliver, does this mean every page with AdSense on it is indexed each time it is loaded? If a change is made on the page I assume Google knows about it immediately due to AdSense?

Also, since my pages now have TARGETED links, are they more likely to rank higher?
