At this time I have one link unit and two medium rectangles (showing 4 ads) on my main page. I get a lot of clicks but I'm plagued with many 3 cents clicks.
I was thinking to replace my two medium rectangles with small rectangles (showing one ad) and in this way increase the price that advertisers will pay to show their ads on my page. Is my logic correct? Even though I will have less clicks the price should go sky high.. :)

The first ads that show may or may not be the highest epc ads. Although many people have reported higher epc due to fewer ads. At 3 cents per click, it is more than worth it to test it.

Also If you're getting low epc and were at one point getting a lot higher epc for the same ads, there is a huge possibility Google's smart pricing has struck your entire account, and fewer ads probably won't solve the problem. This is a problem only the Google Smart Pricing Wizards can fix.

I've tried all those types of experiments like that at one point or another. Nothing ever works. Just focus on the content and you will save yourself lots of headaches and wasted time.
