Competing ads?

Don't understand the Program Policies

I'm not sure what is meant by "We do not permit Google ads or search boxes accessing Google search services to be published on web pages that also contain what could be considered competing ads or services."

There is also this statement: "We do allow affiliate or limited-text links."

I'm also not completely sure what is meant by "contextually-targeted ads."

What about Amazon affiliate ads? I do know these used to be allowed--but has this changed?

DUH! I just read this again: "We do allow affiliate or limited-text links."

I thought it said we do NOT allow affiliate or limited-text links."

No wonder I was confused and no one answered (or probably understood) my post. Sorry about that.
