Static positioned ads

Has anyone experimented with positioning the ads so they're always visible?

Has anyone experimented with positioning the ads so they're always visible?

Like, using a div to position the ads so they're in the same spot on the screen even while the user scrolls?

I did this once briefly, but to be honest I didn't like the look of the page and it did nothing to change the stats on that page either.
