has earned 11.80 in just 20 days....I am so surprised.

I have the ads in normal positions (hot spots) and get very few visitors right now. Between 34 and 110 uniques.

Lots of people are getting there through direct request and my larger sites as well as the other links I have managed to get.

I am in 99% of the search engines and loads of directories. :)

GO ANN GO! Congratulations and keep working it. You already know what you have to do, and you seem motivated to make it happen. I expect you to be reporting triple digit days within a year. Don't disappoint us. :-)

Well Done Ann!

I am just about to unleash a beast that has around 300+ pages of green content. I am excited!

Great going Ann...it's exciting to see a new site take off and begin to generate income and especially to see it targeted by niche trade advertisers.

I launched a new satellite site on 30th August so it's just coming up to two months old and this week it's really started to work having earned USD 20.87 in the last 7 days alone:-)

I reckon the potential for it is probably about USD 150.00 per month since it is so niche.

What do you feel is the potential of your new site?

Actually, as I plan to keep adding to it it is hard to guesstimate...I would say the sky's the limit. :)

I am so happy to hear of your success but don't limit yourself...it could possibly become your greatest effort, given time. ;)

I had a domain, for a month or so, and then decided to chuck a couple of pages at it. After another couple of months I then decided to put some Adsense on - just to see...

I was also surprised to earn around $60 a week from around 120 uniques a day.

I'm now taking it a bit more seriously and have writen some more content. It's all quite good fun...

I know how you feel Ann.

More than a year ago I made one site, about 2 days work. When I got 1$ a day from it after some weeks I thought 'great'.

Currently it's making 20$ a day. 'greater'

Oh no, no, noooooo it won't:-)

It a very specialised niche within the trade with limited appeal worldwide, that's just the nature of the product, however this is the way I am diversifying all my sites instead of expanding the core two mega sites.

I now have several of these satellite sites all contributing a couple of hundred Dollars each per month which is about 30% of total income, with my intention of within the next 12 months to have 66% of my Adsense income coming from about 40-50 satellite sites and the two main sites at about 33-34%.

So far the satellite sites have not affected the core sites income which is what I wished for but dared not believe, in fact it is the core sites which are driving the specialised traffic to the satellites very effectively.

Like everything else it's trying to find the time to get them all done since I have a real job to do as well as web site construction and promotion!

And my kids wonder why I work so many hours...do they want to help...nah:-(( They have every excuse in the book not to learn how to do this so now I am having to consider teaching my offices in China and India how to do it.

Maybe when the kids are older you could try a bribe? No work on web- no whatever. :)

good luck, your plan seems to be working well for you.

I should wish...they're 22 and 18 and the screwed-up UK educational system has taught them that they don't have to do any work...they're too good for that...!

Heavens knows how they think they're going to survive in the real world. I've already told them that they needn't think they're going to get a huge inhertance, I'm going to spend my hard-earned savings if they won't assist:-)

In September I launched a new website, spend a couple of hours to create it, and currently it has earned me more than $30.

I think I need to spend a bit more time on promoting the website. Currently it only has one backlink and it isn't indexed yet in Google.

you should try yahoo ads,

Anyone with any insider information as to whether the rest of the world is ever going to be given the opportunity to USE the YPN!?!?!

They are taking the pi$$...I was registered with them 9th March this year...this is an eternity in the NET world.

And unfortunately for YPN I have been monitoring their advertisers and only 2 from my entire industry has even bothered to try them...talk about spammy ebay, nextag, shopzilla, shopping garbage...very similar to their regular results actually:-(
