Just thought I'd see if anyone was around:-))

Payment in progress is showing today...let's hope we don't get the same problems as last month:-(

Incidentally, whatever happened my Payment History shows a payment cancelled and then a new one made on the same day on 11th October.

I really do not want to use EFT to my UK accounts for personal and company financial reasons.

I have decided what I am going to do to resolve this situation since just one company in the world which cannot comply with my wishes is not going to make me alter my arrangements to fit in with their fouled-up payments.

I guess a new jobsworth came along and decided to change things since nothing had gone wrong in the previous two years of payments...far too simple!

I've checked with my locan DHL office.

My check has been sent yesterday from Google Ireland!

I would assume that Google might want to solely use EFT in certain countries, as it probably is cheaper than catching up with the various things that can go wrong in physically delivering a piece of paper and it ensures that you can't send the cheque to the Kaimans, which might spell trouble for Google if they assist in large scale tax evasion.

This is an analytical statement not a judgemental about who does what with their hard earned ca$h. :)

Reducing cheque payment would probably also reduce printing costs and G favours a technological approach anyway. I assume cheque payment will become less likely, unless you live somewhwere where EFT is unreliable.

Yep and precisely why I do not want EFT to a UK bank account since I am in the process of moving accounts, country and domicile.

I feel that Adsense is inevitably going to get a visit at some point soon plus Ebay/PayPal are the next in the firing line by ALL E.U. tax regimes such is the scale of business being conducted.

Bring on the flat tax and let's get rid of all this stupidity...
