Payment in progress is showing today...let's hope we don't get the same problems as last month:-(

Incidentally, whatever happened my Payment History shows a payment cancelled and then a new one made on the same day on 11th October.

i admit, i didnt really read the TOS verbatim.. but that doesnt mean i dont have common sense.. most of the terms are common sense that a lot of people lack.

today i know the TOS and i dont worry about it too much.

the last time this happened (payment with no funds) a couple months ago, it took 2 days to get into my bank account... hopefully this isnt the same situation.. i wanted to buy a car tomorrow

Arghhhhhh...

And there I was eagerly awaiting the postman this morning and...zilch...denada...nichts...niente...nothing!

Hmmm...better switch on and check my e-mail and there it was, the Adsense e-mail...being squeaky clean I opened it with trepidation to read:

We are in the process of delivering your recent AdSense payment via DHL. However, DHL has informed us that they are unable to deliver to the address currently listed in your AdSense account.

Oh!

Since when was delivery of normal cheques introduced to be delivered by DHL? And before you ask I am not in the UPS club.

Since the horlicks of last month maybe?

This really does not suit me since they now want me to remove my POST BOX NUMBER.

This is the company PO Box, I have used this for 25 years and the local DHL know exactly where I am since they deliver to me every day.

OK, I know that DHL have their delivery policies however I also have mine for security and financial purposes.

I am definitely not a happy Halloween bunny...

More to the DHL story...

Just what is going on with the cheque payments?

Checking the DHL tracking number I have learnt the following in brief:

October 13, 2005 Dublin Shipment picked up
October 14, 2005 East Midlands Arrived at DHL facility
October 14, 2005 With delivery courier
October 14, 2005 Address information needed
October 17 - 21, 2005 Shipment on hold
October 24, 2005 Returned to shipper

Reading this it would suggest that the payment had been issued 11 days before the PIP even commenced!

Huh?

Interestingly I have two Adsense accounts and not a thing has been said about the other payment as yet.

Confused? You bet I am!

Optirex, you have my sympathies - we once had an important contract go missing due to a PO Box/DHL delivery mixup, and it was weeks before we traced it.

Is it time to change to EFT? You could then keep using the PO Box.
