Traffic drop since yesterday / today. Not sure who is gaining right now - SEO spam or Googlespam (SGE etc).

Okay, after two days of bad traffic, the visitors shot up again yesterday and today they are also looking very good. What's more, according to Sistrix, the visibility index is rising steadily.

Unfortunately, the shop is still doing rather poorly, although more orders are now coming in again, the order volume has shrunk significantly.

The last couple of days is seeing my month ending at similar traffic levels to the month's start at about 70% however overall slightly ahead of 2023. Septembers I usually see a 15% increase, I'll soon know!

Traffic has been quite strong this week...new customers? Zero. New inquiries, two since Monday.

The problem, for me at least, is that sites which do not have on site checkout with prices shown (e-commerce) are simply not going to rank for any of the more product oriented terms that I used to rank on before and that resulted in sales. It's all the same e-commerce platforms dominating a huge number of commercial searches now.

So, in my case, I either I wait it out with no sales and hope that Google switches this current paradigm (as it tends to do once every year or so) or move forward with the enormous job of implementing e-commerce on my site. As soon as I finish that job it might change again.

In other words, Google has made a clear bifurcation between e-commerce sites and info sites, and it decides which terms apply to which kind of site. There is no overlap anymore.

The horrid August update continues. Lowest traffic on Thursday I have seen in many months.

I get from Google the same amount of clicks every day (!). Since the update started this amount gets lower every week. Yesterday there was a sharp drop in impressions too. I have overworked about the half of my articles since September HCU 2023 but that didn't work. I have lost nearly all clicks and impressions for those articles.
