Hi Group,

For some reason I have >1 URLs in my Not found (404) report on GSC. 99% of those URLs are

domain.com/page/tel:myphonenumber
domain.com/other-page/tel:myphonenumber
domain.com/another-page/tel:myphonenumber

The problem is that as a Referring page are listed other RSS grabing websites, and for some reason phone number link from my website (f.e. tel:1111111) after they grab my page's content and show there - become like this - > domain.com/page/tel:myphonenumber

Why google consider it like NON FOUND -when someone post wrong URL on their website it need to be counted as

- "Page is not indexed: Not found (404)"

on my side?

How can I fight with that?
1. Report google to remove those websites from index
2. don't consider those links from other websites?
3. add these websites to disavow file (is it outdated?)
4. ... ?

Any advice?

P.s. We all know that big number of Not Found, redirected links are bad for SEO. So how can we protected?

99% of the time, “issues” reported by GSC can safely be ignored. This is one of them.

The same time some of our pages that were on 1st postions right now are nowhere, I'm trying to find what can cause this and the 1st that comes to me was that those errors on GSC.
Another reason: we had 7-8 days downtime month ago, may be this one caused such a drop?

Your downtime is the more likely culprit. GSC errors, especially 404s are not a reason for indexing problems - unless they were caused by the downtime.
