Hi

I am experiencing the same problem as described 3 years ago here
[webmasterworld.com...]

Is this a true issue? Has there ever been a solution?

I know my content dropped from position 1 to 15, and now results are in front of me that are 10 years old and have low connection to the search request. Nobody of my competitiorsa is affected, even very old competitors not even running their page anymore (managing) are in front of me.

I had lime 1300 incoming links..now I am at 14.000 in 3 months, and 13.000 are just spam spam spam...
my traffic went from 16.000 daily down to 1500. Thats not google quality or whatever, I have content that people search for and nobody else has it (I know!), but it cant be found anylonger, as I am ranked behind everywhere.

Hi bodomalo and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

It is not rare, but in general Google eventually sees the links for what they are and they disappear. People around here have been complaining for several onths now about the increase in useless, unrelated search results since even before AI could be blamed.

To eliminate the noise in G results it might help to view serps on another search engine say, bing or DDG to see where others have listed your content. If the spam links worked long term you could see the same poor results, but most can say it is only G.
