Will we see more complaints registered Worldwide over the March Core Update?

I hope so. I believe it’s unfair from many perspectives. This is just one of those angles on impacts far broader and deeper IMO.
Tuta Mail, which says it is the second-largest encrypted email service in the world with more than 10 million users, filed a complaint to the DMA taskforce on Tuesday.
"At the beginning of March 2024 Google suddenly stopped displaying our website for thousands of keywords, limiting search traffic to our site in large part to so-called 'branded traffic' only," the company said in its complaint seen by Reuters.

Here’s more in the ensh*tification of Google’s search product process that is colliding with regulatory legal complexities. Add EU human rights laws to the pain suffered by impacted business’ etc
Raghavan said that additional challenges are emerging as the company is "navigating a regulatory environment unlike anything we've seen before."

He cited the European Union's Digital Markets Act and said the company is still learning what its obligations will be from the European Commission. The DMA, which officially became enforceable last month, aims to clamp down on anti-competitive practices among tech companies.

"That does have its impact on us," Raghavan said.

And the battle is only going to intensify on many levels. I believe talk of degradation in the EU search results is hypocritical "double-speak" when the "ensh*ttification" of it's search platform is effecting business' and consumers alike with anti competitive practices.
"The DMA should not require a degraded search experience on Google for European consumers."
Bethell also took a swipe at other companies designated as gatekeepers under the DMA which have faced criticism over their compliance efforts.
"As we comply with the DMA, engage with the Commission, and listen to feedback from third parties, we expect the same from other gatekeepers too," he said.
DMA breaches can cost companies as much as 10% of their annual global turnover.

How will the EU's DMA affect search results as complaints ramp up to the regulators? Revised legislation can make a difference. Time will tell.
