Our website <snip> got penalty by google in 2022, resulting in a significant drop in rankings and traffic. We've taken various corrective measures, including content changes and Optimisation, link audit, and Technical fixes. Despite these actions, our targeted keywords are not ranking, failing to even reach the top 100 positions. I'm urgently seeking guidance on what additional changes we need to implement to enhance our rankings.

Hi martinstone and welcome to WebmasterWorld [webmasterworld.com]

What kind of penalty was involved in the 2022 drop? If the changes made did not improve rankings, it might be time to look at the basic structure, just to make sure that your content can be easily found, gets good CWV scores and is user friendly, especially for mobile users.

Keyword values change over time, usually downward, as g watches for use/abuse. Look to functionally equivalent keywords to see if any recovery can be made.

As asked above, what kind of penalty was encountered?
